Bud Greenspan's Olympics
Bud Greenspan was one of the foremost filmmakers in Olympic history. In the mid-1980s, he received the Olympic Order, the highest award in Olympic circles. The International Olympic Committee president, Juan Antonio Samaranch of Spain called Bud the foremost producer, writer and director of Olympic films, and an everlasting friend of the Olympic family.
After founding Cappy Productions, Inc. in 1967, Bud Greenspan went on to win eight Emmy Awards for producing, directing and writing exceptional sports documentaries.
