Hello to all.I will say that in order for us to become a nation and not a house divided, we must PRAY for whom ever is in the Presidents Chair. We all must search our hearts for what is for all the people. OH, we put on a show that we are a nation of Christians and believe me I am not judging. I will only say Look at the HISTORY of this COUNTRY-You can make your mouth say anything-showing (doing ) is the proof. Change is hard for us to except and it is like birthing a baby(painful)to some. The principals of this great nation was built on in GOD we trust, but remember GOD loves us all and to be negative towards this President is sad, which goes to show our children and others in the world that America has issues that has not been dealt with and it almost looks like .......Think about the COUNTRY and what we can be if we work together seeking GOD to stear us. No,we are not going to agree on everything. But, the words used concerning a number of issues that will affect people in this great country.Charecter is everything. There is someone watching. LOVE YOU ALL
If only we had not allowed the Pledge to stop, a moment of silence, if only our students watched such inspiring events as this today in school. Some schools do, but in South FL they are too worried to offend someone, So only students taking Government or Law classes get to really keep informed with current issues going on our in Government today.
And now without getting too much into...

And now without getting too much into politics, our current President Obama, too much blame is on him, when his predecessor saw the wheels already in motion, this just didn't happen since this man took office. This seems to always be what happens, we blame the new guy for something that took time to build up and manifest, years even. We need more harmony and involvement on an individual level.
How many families are struggling to put food on the table every week and are too proud to apply for food stamps? I am, not proud but embarrassed. How many of you out there have made a meal for a neighbor who can't afford to have a Christmas dinner? How many have invited a neighbor in need over for dinner? I use to do all these things. Many times, but too often many are not thought of.
Get involved with your neighbors, friends, families in need. Go shopping for them, deliver a couple of bags of groceries. There are those that are not registered at local services for help, they have never needed it, they are not knowledgeable on the in's and out's. Just open your eyes and help not only the obvious charities, but people you know that have had tough times this year.
Our children today have no clue what we went through in school in the 60's, even me as a young one remember so much more about growing up, but today they have so much technology and gadgetry keeping them occupied that they miss so much.
So all we can do now is be there, keep them in Scouting, Boys or Girls. Back to where they can learn to appreciate their surroundings, the needs of the less fortunate, creativity, respect, values and many other things that we as parents don't always have the time to teach. Or we teach these things and just want our child to be around others interested in those same values.
I was a late mother at 35, I wanted my daughter to grow with others interested in values, goals and achivements to be earned and proud of. So I decided to get involved with the Girl Scout organization beginning with her as a Junior G/S. We kept involved and was a Girl Scout Leader for 3 of her 4 years in Scouts. These were the most rewarding years of my life. Working towards patches helps them understand so much in various ways, respect for people, parents, siblings, peers and the environment. Making good choices and decisions. She doesn't remember many of these years but those values were embedded in her soul. Try to get your children or grandchildren involved in this most amazing organization for their future, to have a confident and caring women, and man if in Boy Scouts. If you as a parent can get involved do so as well, go to the training to be a leader, you will learn so much yourself and enjoy the companionship of others concerned with our children's values and morals. Growing up in todays busy tech based world we need to slow them down. It's getting away from all of them, stop and smell the flowers. Keep our young active in our society. Girls or Boys. Then hopefully they can appreciate this world of diversity and change, learning and growing with peers and adults just excited to keep this country 's young people involved and caring about our world and our neighbors, both here and abroad.
So get out and help each other, that's what you can do for our Country today.
