A video to think about. I never thought about soldiers in the Civil War being honored by Memorial Day. I think to me it was for WW I and WW 2 and Korea and Vietnam. A very heart-rending film - leaving until the end why he was running. Valor, selflessness and love for humanity, even those of another color.

yes, thank you. Memorial Day was started as a day of reconciliation between the north and south. It is a day of remembrance. Hard to imagine now maybe, but our country was founded on these kinds of struggles and self-sacrifice. Thank you for posting your comment.

Regardless of the reason He was running. He was thinking with his heart, knowing what could had happen to him. It is written finishing is better than starting.
