This film is very inspiring after the loss of my dog Max after 14 years.

Hallmark's movies are always good, but this will be one of my favorites. It doesn't hurt that Bruce Greenwood has always been one of my favorite actors. Well cast with excellent actors. No cardboard characters! What a delight!!

A Dog Named Christmas

George McCray, his wife and their 20-year-old developmentally challenged son, Todd, are preparing for their usual family Christmas when a local animal shelter begins to advertise for families to foster a pet for the holidays. George firmly opposes the idea of bringing a dog into their home. He's worried that Todd cannot accept the responsibility, and will become too attached and not want to return the dog after Christmas. But that's before his wife and son – with the help of a wise yellow Lab – work their persuasive magic.
